Pinon trees are one of our favorites in the mountains- Just like Pinon Hideaway will be your favorite place to stay in the cool pines of Ruidoso. Spacious home has wonderful wooded and mountain views, the decks are the best place to rest and relax. Make new memories with friends. Pinon Hideaway does NOT offer air conditioning for Summer months...fans help bring the cool mountain air into cabin in the evenings.

Our family absolutely loved this mountain cabin! We enjoyed eating our meals on the back deck - it is fenced in so you don't have to worry about some of your furry mountain friends coming to join you and we sat on the top deck at night and enjoyed the stars and fresh mountain air. We thought the location was perfect - there is a feeling of seclusion which we like and there is fishing nearby at Alto Lake. Our kids especially enjoyed having an upstairs bedroom We will definitely be back for another family vacation!

Our family of four (12 and 7yo) absolutely loved Pinion Hideaway! It was the perfect place to stay and travel to lots of hiking and sightseeing in Lincoln Nation Forest and the Tularosa Basin. Someone mentioned the driveway being steep and Id have to agree. My minivan did fine, but honestly I would have had trouble backing out. Much of that is just because Im not great at reversing though, thankfully my hubby has no trouble...lol!

This is well situated if you want to be away from the main areas. Very wooded and nice. The access is very steep and the road is not paved. This should be noted. The master has a very firm tempurpedic. The beds upstairs are pretty comfortable in the medium range. The fireplace is not 100% properly vented. The draw is not as strong as it needs to be, so if it is a windy day, do not start a fire because it will backdraft smoke into the cabin. It is a cozy cabin suitable for 4-6 people.

We had a wonderful,restful family getaway. The property was clean and beautiful. The views and stargazing was amazing! The wildlife is beautiful and out was great to feed the deer. We Will defenetly stay there again. Our only concern was the back deck that move from side to side when we where on it. We really didn't use that part of the house. Other than that the house is pretty well equipped with the necessities you will need for your stay. Beautiful and peaceful area!

Great location! Nice and quiet. However, the cabin is on a mountain hill side with a steep dirt/gravel road to get to the driveway. Don't take your corvette or any kind of car that is low to the ground.

Great service working within the COVID guidelines. The cabin was great. My grandchildren had a blast. I had booked with another cabin rental agency and was very dissatisfied with their policies and customer service but Cozy Cabins was nothing like them. Thank you.

This cozy cabin is perfect for a small getaway with beautiful mountain top views. Its fairly easy to get to. The cabin has a nice design and plenty of space.I had no problem getting comfortable and can't wait to get back in the winter.

The cabin is great for six, if privacy is not an issue since both bathrooms are downstairs. The second bathroom is by the kitchen so this may not work for some people. I loved the balcony and I was able to enjoy the sunrises from the bedroom without waking the rest of the guests. The cabin has everything you need and I found it comfortable. I loved that we were able to see wild turkeys and deer in the mornings, it was like a dream. Driving up to the cabin in the snow is difficult and you need 4x4 or chains on your tires,its pretty steep. The driveway is also very narrow. Communication with the host was excellent.

The cabin is really much nicer than the pictures posted so we were pleasantly surprised. Check-in was easy, the drive from town was easy and the place was really clean when we arrived. It snowed a couple of hours after weve settled in and it was quite magical. I think you would need chains if coming up when it snows; we didnt have any so we waited until snow has melted before venturing out. Other than that, this cabin is quite perfect for a family of 5-6ppl.

Great location, great views, clean, comfy, a lot off deers, turkeys.. just if you go on snowing days try to arrive in day light and be prepared to carry all your stuff by hand because our truck didnt make it the first day even whit chains on it. Everything is very good!

Our Cozy Cabins experience was lovely. Quiet location perched in the mountains. We did use our 4 wheel drive to get to the cabin due to some rains and moving gravel. Roughly 12 minutes from Midtown Ruidoso.

Very clean. Very good Location. Extremely well designed for enjoying the woods and wild life and all the comforts of home. It even has bird feeders to attract the birds. I suggest you bring food for the deers-there are lots who visit. Check with the owners about the elimination of added fragrances to the cabin-the strong odor of potpourri was a problem for us.

To Check IN: To check in come to our Office located at 546 Sudderth Dr. Ruidoso NM. The Office is on the North side of Sudderth Dr. Directly across from Ruidoso Fire Station at the Paradise Canyon intersection. We are open from 9am-5pm Mon-Thur and 9am-6pm Fri-Sat. If you arrive after the office has closed your arrival envelope will be to the left of the front door inside one of the two mailboxes separated by last name. Your envelope will have a map, key, directions, and emergency contact information in case you need to get in touch with us.
CHECK-IN TIME: Standard Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. If you must check-in early a pro-rated extra charge will be applied if possible. Sometimes there is no possibility for early check-in. Holiday Check-in time may be as late 6:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. During holidays early check in is not available.
DEPOSIT and BALANCE: All reservations are guaranteed by charging 50% of the total cost for your stay at the TIME of your reservation, this is the "DEPOSIT", 100% if less than 15 days. You may send a personal check or money order for your 50% Deposit, but it must be received within 10 days from the date of the confirmation letter. A reservation is not considered firm until the deposit is received. IF YOUR DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WHEN DUE, YOUR RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELATION. The remaining balance for your reservation is due 15 days prior to the date of arrival and will be charged that day. When you check in the balance will be paid in full.
CHRISTMAS POLICY: For reservations during the Christmas Holiday there will be a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights. Reservations cannot check in or check out on December 25th or Jan 1. New reservations cannot create single night gaps and may require additional nights to book based on existing reservations. All reservations MUST be paid in full by December 1st or at the time of the reservation if the reservation is booked after Dec 01. There will be absolutely NO cancellations or changes 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
WINTER CONDITIONS WILL REQUIRE 4 WHEEL DRIVE OR TIRE CHAINS! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BE PREPARED FOR WINTER CONDITIONS!
