Description
This is another authentic Ruidoso River Cabin. The cabin is located up the road from the river, and well worth the short walk to enjoy all the river provides! You can fish, as the Village does stock the river monthly. There is a hidden gem of a park once you cross the bridge to the left and meander on the river trail you will be upon it! Take a picnic lunch,or grill on the charcoal grills at the park (season permitting, check with office). The .25 mile river trail will also lead you to other more public picnic sites, several pavilions, a playground for the kids, and Ruidoso Visitors Center.
The cabin is located off our main street, and within walking distance to Cornerstone Bakery Cafe which is a Ruidoso Favorite place for great breakfasts and lunch. There are other restaurants within walking distance to suite your taste. Walk off your breakfast to our midtown district which is less than 1 mile up Sudderth.

Cute little cabin, great for dogs and their humans! It was actually very close to the Rio Ruidoso and downtown Ruidoso. The hot tub was a great feature. The cabin itself was in good condition and very neat.

Cute little cabin, even better in person. Very clean, comfortable bed, plenty of towels and fenced in yard which is awesome if you travel with dogs like we did. You can easily walk into town or down to the river walk. Hot tub and grill outback was the icing on the cake.

Great location - close enough to walk to the center of town, but out of the way enough to feel like a retreat from it all. Hot tub was a treat. Plenty of towels for multiple soaks every day. Kitchen had everything we needed. Charming, sweet, rustic decor. Quite spacious and inviting. Lots of comfy touches like plush extra throws and blankets. We slept better than we have in months.

Dear Guests,
My husband and I are both Lubbock natives now in our 70s and believe it or not, wed never been to Ruidoso until a friend in Lubbock told me about a Condo she had bought as a rental property here. Since we wanted to escape the Lubbock heat, we asked to use her condo, came for the first time ever in May of 2018, fell in love with Ruidoso, River Cabin and we closed on this cabin in June 2018.
Several years ago, wonderful couple had done so much to this cabin to make it larger and add some great comforts for you. However, by the time we bought the cabin things had been removed by the previous owner. So, our first challenge was to make this 1940s cabin feels like a cabin we would want to visit, and youd be comfortable staying in. We tried to add a few things from the past (40s & 50s) and be sure you have everything you need for a weekend or week-long stay. We also wanted to add and keep the things that will remind you that you are in a cabin where deer could be in the front yard when you leave the gate open.
Having two small fur babies when we first saw this cabin, we were excited to see the fully fenced front and back yards. So, our fur babies can be in both the front yard when we have coffee on the front porch in the morning and in the back with us when we grill outside or as we enjoy the hot tub year-round.

Beautiful location surrounded by pine trees and just a short walk from the river. We loved the hot tub. Great kitchen and propane grill for those who want to cook. Highly recommend getting a few slices of pie from nearby Cornerstone bakery and enjoying them down by the river. We appreciated that the house was stocked with many clean towels for after the hot tub and cozy blankets for lounging on the couch and watching movies at night.

To Check IN: To check in come to our Office located at 546 Sudderth Dr. Ruidoso NM. The Office is on the North side of Sudderth Dr. Directly across from Ruidoso Fire Station at the Paradise Canyon intersection. We are open from 9am-5pm Mon-Thur and 9am-6pm Fri-Sat. If you arrive after the office has closed your arrival envelope will be to the left of the front door inside one of the two mailboxes separated by last name. Your envelope will have a map, key, directions, and emergency contact information in case you need to get in touch with us.
CHECK-IN TIME: Standard Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. If you must check-in early a pro-rated extra charge will be applied if possible. Sometimes there is no possibility for early check-in. Holiday Check-in time may be as late 6:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. During holidays early check in is not available.
DEPOSIT and BALANCE: All reservations are guaranteed by charging 50% of the total cost for your stay at the TIME of your reservation, this is the "DEPOSIT", 100% if less than 15 days. You may send a personal check or money order for your 50% Deposit, but it must be received within 10 days from the date of the confirmation letter. A reservation is not considered firm until the deposit is received. IF YOUR DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WHEN DUE, YOUR RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION. The remaining balance for your reservation is due 15 days prior to the date of arrival and will be charged that day. When you check in the balance will be paid in full.
CHRISTMAS POLICY: For reservations during the Christmas Holiday there will be a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights. Reservations cannot check in or check out on December 25th or Jan 1. New reservations cannot create single night gaps and may require additional nights to book based on existing reservations. All reservations MUST be paid in full by December 1st or at the time of the reservation if the reservation is booked after Dec 01. There will be absolutely NO cancellations or changes 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
WINTER CONDITIONS WILL REQUIRE 4 WHEEL DRIVE OR TIRE CHAINS! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BE PREPARED FOR WINTER CONDITIONS!
