Description
This is another authentic Ruidoso River Cabin. The cabin is located up the road from the river, and well worth the short walk to enjoy all the river provides! You can fish, as the Village does stock the river monthly. There is a hidden gem of a park once you cross the bridge to the left and meander on the river trail you will be upon it! Take a picnic lunch,or grill on the charcoal grills at the park (season permitting, check with office). The .25 mile river trail will also lead you to other more public picnic sites, several pavilions, a playground for the kids, and Ruidoso Visitors Center.
The cabin is located off our main street, and within walking distance to Cornerstone Bakery Cafe which is a Ruidoso Favorite place for great breakfasts and lunch. There are other restaurants within walking distance to suite your taste. Walk off your breakfast to our midtown district which is less than 1 mile up Sudderth.

This small cabin is cute, cozy and the location is excellent. It is within walking distance of Sudderth shopping and the beautiful river trail is right down the street. The hot tub is awesome with a cover that is super easy to maneuver. We also loved the Keurig and K-cups are provided.

We have stayed at cabins before and we love it. We always bring our own food so we can splurge where we stay. The hot tub is a "must" for me and we loved it. I love how the cabin is a short walk from the river, you can go there whenever you want and it is beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will always choose a cabin. This was our first visit to Ruidoso. We enjoyed it. Perfect for exactly what we wanted to do, relax! The cabin was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean & cozy. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the grill to cook outside, and kitchen to cook meals so we could stay in if wanted to. The girls asked if we could stay forever. The cabin was perfect for us. Our four-year-old and seven-year-old were very comfortable on the fold out couch . The cabin was in close proximity to Midtown and just up the hill from the river which was beautiful . The hot tub was also a very popular feature . We will certainly recommend river cabin to anyone planning to visit Ruidoso .

Wanted to rescind former comments about TV not working (no signal) as was told during check out if I had called on it they would have sent someone right over. Also DVD player not working. Come to find out it was the fault of my DVD and not the player. Check out was fast and easy and my deposit return was timely. Highly recommend this cabin. Everyone wants to go back, especially the kids.

We booked this cabin at the last minute on a Fourth of July weekend, so we didn't set our expectations very high. What a pleasant surprise. It's a perfect landing pad for two. Nothing fancy, but certainly clean, comfortable, and cozy -- literally tucked away on a side street off of the main strip of restaurants, galleries, etc. Surprisingly quiet with very friendly neighbors. The photos don't do the cabin's exterior space justice. There's plenty of room and privacy to enjoy the beautiful weather, fire up the grill, etc. No grass for the pupps, but a great outdoor space that's fully enclosed to let them roam freely. For the price and comfort, we would definitely stay here again.
Notes
To Check IN: To check in come to our Office located at 546 Sudderth Dr. Ruidoso NM. The Office is on the North side of Sudderth Dr. Directly across from Ruidoso Fire Station at the Paradise Canyon intersection. We are open from 9am-5pm Mon-Thur and 9am-6pm Fri-Sat. If you arrive after the office has closed your arrival envelope will be to the left of the front door inside one of the two mailboxes separated by last name. Your envelope will have a map, key, directions, and emergency contact information in case you need to get in touch with us.
CHECK-IN TIME: Standard Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. If you must check-in early a pro-rated extra charge will be applied if possible. Sometimes there is no possibility for early check-in. Holiday Check-in time may be as late 6:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. During holidays early check in is not available.
DEPOSIT and BALANCE: All reservations are guaranteed by charging 50% of the total cost for your stay at the TIME of your reservation, this is the "DEPOSIT", 100% if less than 15 days. You may send a personal check or money order for your 50% Deposit, but it must be received within 10 days from the date of the confirmation letter. A reservation is not considered firm until the deposit is received. IF YOUR DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WHEN DUE, YOUR RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION. The remaining balance for your reservation is due 15 days prior to the date of arrival and will be charged that day. When you check in the balance will be paid in full.
CHRISTMAS POLICY: For reservations during the Christmas Holiday there will be a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights. Reservations cannot check in or check out on December 25th or Jan 1. New reservations cannot create single night gaps and may require additional nights to book based on existing reservations. All reservations MUST be paid in full by December 1st or at the time of the reservation if the reservation is booked after Dec 01. There will be absolutely NO cancellations or changes 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
WINTER CONDITIONS WILL REQUIRE 4 WHEEL DRIVE OR TIRE CHAINS! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BE PREPARED FOR WINTER CONDITIONS!
