A Stone's Thoreau was much better than advertised. The sound of the Rio Ruidoso is wonderful and relaxing. The hot tub was also nice on cool nights. The inside is very nice and clean; love the way you can look out the dining room window and see the Rio Ruidoso and the fall scenery -- we ate all of our meals there as a family. Master bedroom had plenty of room and closet space; both bathrooms were nice. Kitchen very nice; all sheets and towels were good. TV and internet worked great. Just right for four or five people. You can be on Meachem in like 2 minutes; and no steep hills to worry about. Figuring out which driveway it is was a little tricky the first time, but you can't beat this place. We'll definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at the Blue Sky Cabin, it was like Home away from Home. The cabin was very roomy for our family. The guys enjoyed the game room and grilling in the spacious backyard. Loved sitting on the front porch watching the wildlife stroll by. We would love to stay here again soon!

The condo had everything we needed for out stay. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. Our family really enjoyed our time there.

Everyone we spoke with before arriving was super friendly and helpful! They answered every question we had and made us feel welcome!

The Comfy Cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway! Its very spacious and has an amazing deck with a great view to watch the sunrise. We loved that it was pet friendly, so our whole family could come. It is only a few minutes away from everything we needed! The market, gas station and midtown are only a short drive down the mountain! It was fabulous feeling secluded but being super close to everything!

Wonderful cabin, beautiful space, lots of wildlife, had great supplies of towels, kitchen ware, etc. Was easy to find and felt like you were really in the mountains but did not take long to get into town. I look forward to staying again.

We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the cabin so much! The location is perfect. Its quiet, safe, and close enough to downtown to be there in a few minutes. The cabin is beautifully decorated and would be perfect for a large family, a girls trip, or a group of friends. The bathrooms are updated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck with some wine and a cheese board on a beautiful day! We are already making plans to come back and rent this wonderful house again!

Our check in/check out experience was contact free. We did everything via the boxes outside of the office. It was very well marked and very easy to understand. Extremely convenient.

This property is absolutely perfect for multiple families/kids. It is very comfortable and spacious. The views are beautiful. We saw elk and deer every evening driving out of the subdivision. Everything was just perfect. Last year we came and stayed at Las Nubes with family friends and their children. This year we came with out parents and our teenage son and his friend. The space and room layout, along with the large game room downstairs, makes for a perfect vacation house.

Good place to stay for our family. We walked too downtown area. Property was fun and safe.

Is my first time visiting Ruidoso and staying at a cabin. I enjoyed myself staying at the Honey Bear cabin. The bed blankets smelled clean. 100 percent recommended.

Our stay was amazing and so cozy. Check-in was a breeze as well as checking out. We had absolutely no problems at all. We will definitely be back.

Great stay! Very cozy!

This place was very clean and cozy! It was well stocked, had a big screen television and nice, comfortable furniture. It has central heating, but not cooling. There was a small window unit in the kitchen that would probably be adequate for the warmer summer days. There were not ceiling fans in the bedrooms, only in the living area. However the hosts were prompt to deliver a stand fan for our comfort after we requested one. The cabin is small but was perfect for the two of us. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at A Stone's Thoreau. It was just as beautiful and peaceful as it appeared online. The deck is AWESOME, we enjoyed spending most of out time out there. We have visited Ruidoso several times but this was by far our favorite place and we will be returning.

Loved our stay at Blue Sky! I always look for a rental that is clean, updated, and cared for! This property is fresh, with great deck views and room for everyone. Look forward to staying again!

The cabin was bigger and nicer than expected. I loved the front porch. Perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We even had some neighborhood visitors (DEER).
