Dear Guests: Welcome to Upper Canyon Retreat! We hope you enjoy your time here at our getaway and happy place like we do. A few years after purchasing our first cabin here in Ruidoso, we decided it was time to finds a second one due to our growing family (more grandchildren). We had seen this cabin many times over the years. Now, it was up for sale again. We bought it, fixed it up a bit, and added a hot tub. We love it and enjoy it so much. We love to come to this cabin just to escape the craziness of everyday life, relax, and enjoy Gods beautiful creation and wildlife. We enjoy sitting on the front porch and just relaxing in the swing out back watching the deer and elk. It is also a short walk down to the Rio Ruidoso River, and were not too far from all the shopping and activities downtown. Ruidoso is a beautiful place all year around. We hope that you enjoy your time here in Ruidoso at Upper Canyon Retreat and make many wonderful memories that you will treasure for years to come. Enjoy your stay and come back to see us soon! Great location very close to everything and easy access to main road. The deer do roam around close to cabin but even when we had the door open they would just mind their own business. When they say just bring the groceries, they mean it! I had pans, plates, utensils, napkins, coffee maker, toaster, everything! We only cooked all weekend, and I never had to go to the store for anything. The hot tub was great! And the outdoor patio area was so nice and relaxing to come back to. Sat outside and enjoyed nature, while the football games played on the tv inside. I will definitely book with cozy cabins again.

Good stay! Very cozy, spacious, and nice! One of the bedrooms downstairs would benefit from a new bed but besides that we really enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful place! Saw lots of deer and the private hot tub was perfect! Had much more kitchen supplies than expected.

We all loved staying in this property. It exceeded our expectations. Clean, cozy and comfortable atmosphere. They took care of everything that we needed; kitchenware, clean towels, blankets, clean hot tub, wood, etc. We had so much fun! Thank you and will see you next time!

Was very impressed with the place. Very spacious and clean. No problems checking in and the person at Cozy Cabins was so much helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back this summer.

The cabin itself is very nice, as well as the location. Very minimal parking.

It was good, cozy, clean, comfortable.

Our cabin was on point and we truly enjoyed our stay. My grandsons enjoy all the wildlife they got to see! We will definitely will be back for our annual family trip.

It's a really cozy cabin! Very clean! They have an open family deck which is nice to play games, have breakfast or an evening with wine overlooking the river! Loved how they had family board games and a deck of cards available. I would suggest you bring extra pillows and blankets if visiting during winter.

This was my first visit to Ruidoso and I loved everything about it. Ruidoso is beautiful and would love to go back again.

Beautiful little spot that lives up to its name. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Took a little trip here with a small group of friends and had a great time. Great view of the Ruidoso wildlife from the back porch, perfect for morning coffee on the patio. The hot tub was a huge plus for our group, however the 3 person max occupancy was a little disappointing. Be careful for the floor vent in the hallway as it does get very hot to the touch when the heater is running. All things considered, I definitely would recommend this cozy cabin.

Super nice place! Really close from downtown, great location with great views. The cabin was super clean and comfortable, I really want to go back soon!

Gail was really helpful. We showed up a day earlier than we were supposed to and she was helping us try to find another property for the night.

Absolutely would book with you again because of the ease of checking in and out. Also, we really liked how clean the place was that we rented. The view was gorgeous and the place was clean and exactly what we wanted! It was really nice having two master suites and a kids space downstairs. The hot tub was a huge plus.

Great place to stay, not too far from shopping and food. Lots of wildlife to see.
